Project management is always the key to success when project involves numerous stakeholders.We are proud to have been appointed by LG to engineer and manufacture a product feature wall for its range of InstaViewTM fridges. These have been installed in twenty-one different Currys outlets and we have been working closely with LG and Currys to deliver a best-in-class branded display.
The display is mainly produced from mild steel and the area surrounding the InstaView fridges is clad in a concrete effect film to tie in with the LG brand guidelines. There is also an interactive digital screen with buttons which provides product features and specifications for the model selected. Ad’LiteTM, HL’s lighting solution was installed to provide a halo lighting effect to further highlight the wall. The new display gives a modern and contemporary look & feel which is in line with the product positioning.
Project management was an important contributor to the success of this project. Many parties were involved in the development process such as the Currys retail initiatives team, LG’s UK team and their overseas headquarters team, technology provider, installation partner and the Currys stores. Besides managing the design and manufacturing process, our customer project team has been highly involved in liaising with all the stakeholders to ensure the project was completed seamlessly and according to plan.
We worked with our installation partner who not only installed the new displays but also dismantled the old display for a proper end of life recycling to ensure the project was completed with sustainability very much in mind.
