It’s an in-store integrated ‘Click & Collect’ returns unit that combines a parcel returns deposit box and built-in self-service console. Designed to meet the increasing demand of shoppers wanting a convenient way of being able to return goods bought on-line in multiple physical store locations across the UK.In order to meet the increase demand of it’s parcel collections and returns business, Asda toyou needed to automate and expand it’s self-service return capabilities across it’s store estate. HL were asked to design and manufacture an integrated self-service unit that met the high expectations of the Asda shopper.
HL’s modular design allows a parcel return drop box to be installed in a variety of in-store locations, in line with the growth and expansion of different store formats. Two different types of drop boxes, wall mounted and free standing, were designed to meet the needs of Super Centers, Supermarkets and Express formats.
We are pound to see this POPAI Gold award-winning project is expanding into more and more stores, bringing a convenient in-store returns service to shoppers and supporting Asda’s omni-commerce strategy.
